Biography

While chatting about home, his brother Evan, and parents Robin and Krista; sophomore Dylan Chatters may also chat-up Dungeness from the Strait of Juan de Fuca. In Sugarhouse, the Griffin sprinter is decidedly un-crablike, and surely basking in the relatively balmy climes of Utah after his formative years above the 45th parallel all over North America. Born in Alberta, Canada, the Nursing major trekked east through the great northern plains for a decade spent in Maine, then back west across the continent for a high school track career with the Sequim Washington Wolves. Off the boards, Dylan enjoys football, basketball, and a love of diesel trucks provides a seemingly balancing component to the mid-distance specialist’s many miles sucking flower fumes training in the lavender fields around Sequim, the “Lavender Capitol of North America.” A solid 6’1’’, Dylan lists Olympic lifting as one of his interests and EDM and rap music help him through the gym.
