Biography

Personal: Mitchell Sims flies into Westminster as a Flight Operations major. The 5-foot-9 freshman sprinter puts his PR’s of 11.2 – 100M, 22.8 – 200M, and a 52.5 – 400M on the line in the Griffin starting blocks. A JROTC participant and Leadership Award recipient in high school, off the track, Mitch likes to head for the hardwood with basketball in hand, or the football field for gridiron action. Music and film favorites include hip hop and The Lion King. Maintaining Mitch are parents Lee and Loretta, and siblings Desiree and Lee.
