Biography

Personal: After graduating Park City High School with Honors, former Miner soccer player Karsten Gillwald switched his athletic focus to distance running in XC and track. The 5-foot-8 Public Health major’s Westminster career comprises inclusion on the Dean’s List, and two shares of school relay records as he enters his senior Griffin campaign. While enjoying soccer, sailing and science fiction in his third dimension, sister Anika and parents Pete and Shelley root for Karsten in a clearly present state of reality.
