Jace Obenchain is from Meridian, Idaho, and attended Mountain View High School, where he was named 6A SIC Conference Player of the Year and Idaho Press Soccer Player of the Year, won the regular-season conference title in 2025, and finished second in the district championship.
He is majoring in Nursing. Obenchain chose Westminster because it is far enough from home to feel independent while still being close by, offers the best pathway for his nursing career, and gave him the opportunity to play high-level soccer.

His goals after college are to pass the NCLEX and pursue the CRNA pathway, working in a high-acuity ICU before entering a CRNA program and eventually becoming licensed as a CRNA.Â
