Biography

Westminster University is excited to welcome Christopher Cox, a 6’8 guard from Salt Lake City, Utah to the Griffins men’s basketball program. Cox is a transfer from Division 1 UC San Diego where he spend 2 seasons with the Tritons. Prior to college, Cox had a highly decorated career at local Cottonwood High School. Cox was named 1st team All State in both is junior and senior seasons as well as Region 7 MVP in both campaigns. For his high school career, Christopher scored 993 points, snagged 321 rebounds, and added 104 assists. In his senior season, Cox led the Colts to the state finals while garnering a McDonald’s All American game nominee.
