Ryan Silva is from San Clemente, California, and attended Santa Margarita High School, where he served as team captain, was named a 2025 CIF Southern Section All-Star and 2024 Defensive Player of the Year, earned First Team All-League honors twice and Second Team All-League and All-County honors once each, and holds the school record for caused turnovers; academically, he received Santa Margarita's 2025 Award of Excellence for Physics in the Universe, was a four-year Scholar Athlete and California Scholarship Federation member, and graduated with a 4.0+ GPA.

He is majoring in Finance. Silva chose Westminster for the outdoors and the mountains, along with being near a larger school like the University of Utah while still attending a smaller college.

His goal is a good work/life balance with a job he enjoys, a nice family, and the opportunity to travel or live in other places.
