2011–12 (Junior): Played and started all 32 games during his first year with the Griffins … averaged 9.7 points and shot 50.2 percent from the floor … led the team with 45 steals and was second with 87 assists … scored in double figures 17 times … had 10 points and five assists in his Griffins debut at Victoria (10/21) … set career high with 19 points against Cal State San Marcos (11/11) … scored 16 points with four rebounds at Azusa Pacific (11/19) … went for 15 points, five rebounds and three steals against Minot State (12/16) … totaled 14 points at Montana Tech (1/6) … scored 16 points with three steals at Great Falls (1/27) … matched career high with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting against Montana Tech (2/4) … had 12 points and seven rebounds versus Rocky Mountain (2/9) … had third 19-point performance on 8-of-12 shooting in conference tournament against Rocky Mountain (2/28) … was named second team All-Frontier Conference.

Before Westminster: Hayter is a 6-foot-3 guard from Grants Pass, Ore. where he prepped at Hidden Valley High School. As a senior, Hayter was named the Oregon 3A Player of the Year. He spent one year at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and last season played for Western Wyoming Community College.
