Westminster women's golf closed out its home tournament with a third-place finish at the Westminster Wasatch Invitational presented by Canyon View Credit Union, posting a +27 team score across two rounds at Glenmoor GCS in South Jordan, Utah — good for third in a 14-team field.

Round 1
Westminster opened with a +9 team round, powered by a red-hot round from Ashley Lam, who fired a 1-under 71 (33-38) to sit T13 individually after 18 holes. Kindra Hirasuna backed her up with a 74 (38-36, +2), and Remi Rawlings added a 75 (37-38, +3) to round out the counting scores. Lily Shin carded a 77 (35-42, +5).
Round 2
The Griffins carded a +18 in the second round to finish at +27 for the event. Hirasuna led the way with a 75 (38-37, +3), followed by Shin's 76 (34-42, +4) and Madalyn Hadley's 77 (41-36, +5). Lam closed with a 78 (38-40, +6) to finish the tournament at 149 total, while Rawlings shot 79 (40-39, +7) to close out her week.
Westminster finished third overall behind champion Point Loma (+1) and runner-up Westmont (+15).
Griffin Performances
Ashley Lam and Kindra Hirasuna tied for the team lead, finishing T13 individually at +5 (149 total). Lam opened with a 71 in Round 1 before a 78 in Round 2; Hirasuna was remarkably consistent with rounds of 74 and 75.
Lily Shin finished T20 at +9 (77-76), highlighted by an eagle — one of just four in the entire field, and the only one recorded by a Westminster player.
Remi Rawlings placed T24 at +10 (75-79).
Madalyn Hadley rounded out the scoring lineup at T36, +13 (80-77).
Competing as individuals, Jailee Snow and Isabel Wade each finished T33 at +12 (75-81), and Campbell Kato finished T62 at +18 (76-86).
Team stat highlights: Westminster tied for the field lead in eagles with 1, ranked third in the field in par-3 scoring average (3.15, +6) and par-5 scoring average (4.95, -2), and tied for third in total pars with 105.
Individual standouts: Hirasuna ranked T8 in the field in birdies with 6, and Lam was T10 with 5. Shin ranked T13 in the field in total pars with 23.
