Westminster University Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach Janelle Branch has been selected to serve as a Team Manager for Team USA at the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships, scheduled for August 5–9 in Eugene, Oregon.

The World Athletics U20 Championships bring together the top track and field athletes under the age of 20 from more than 100 nations competing for international medals. As Team Manager, Branch will support team operations and help ensure American athletes have what they need to perform at their best throughout the competition.

The appointment is Branch's first international assignment as a member of team staff and marks another milestone in her ongoing involvement with USA Track & Field.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to support some of our country's best young athletes as they compete against the world's top talent," Branch said. "I'm excited for the experience and look forward to bringing what I learn back to Westminster."

Branch enters her second season leading the Griffins' cross country and track & field programs. She has been involved with USA Track & Field for several years through athletic, coaching, and national leadership roles.

The 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships will be held at Hayward Field in Eugene.
