DENVER, Colo. – The Westminster women's basketball team dropped an 80–52 RMAC decision to Regis on Thursday evening at Regis Fieldhouse.
The Rangers built an early lead and maintained control throughout, holding Westminster scoreless from three-point range while capitalizing at the free-throw line.
Game Breakdown
First Half
Regis jumped out to a 23–14 lead after the first quarter and extended the advantage in the second, outscoring Westminster 18–11 to take a 41–25 lead into halftime.
Second Half
Westminster showed its best offensive stretch in the third quarter, shooting 60.0% (6–10) from the field, but Regis matched the effort with 21 points to maintain a 62–42 edge entering the fourth. The Rangers closed the game by outscoring the Griffins 18–10 in the final period.

Madison Anderson led Westminster with 12 points, shooting 4–6 from the field and adding 4 rebounds. Ellie Mitchell finished with 10 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists, while Nisa Ellis added 9 points and 6 rebounds off the bench.
Emily Evans contributed 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists, and Teuila Nawahine posted 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Klowie Pike chipped in 6 points and 5 rebounds.
Westminster shot 35.7% (20–56) from the field, went 0–12 from three-point range, and finished 12–21 (57.1%) at the free-throw line. The Griffins recorded 36 points in the paint, 11 fast-break points, and 11 second-chance points.
