The Westminster Griffins closed out a successful weekend at the Otter Classic with a 3–1 overall record, highlighted by Mailei Myers and Hailey Killett earning spots on the All-Tournament Team.
Day Two of the tournament featured matchups with Seattle Pacific and Cal State Monterey Bay. In their first contest, the Griffins fell 3–0 to the Falcons. Seattle held the advantage at the net, outkilling Westminster 48–36, led by Josyln Greff's 15 kills. Sadie Parrish paced the Griffins with 12 kills, while Breegan Huntsman led all players with 14 digs.
Westminster bounced back in the tournament finale against host Cal State Monterey Bay. In the first-ever meeting between the programs, the Griffins controlled nearly every category and outkilled the Otters 62–59, with Parrish again leading the way offensively. Mary Fonoimoana, Mailei Myers, and Brooklyn Easton each tallied two service aces, while Myers and Killett anchored the net defensively with five and three blocks, respectively.
Setting duties were shared between Atley Mitchell (25 assists) and Leila Cornejo (24 assists), while Ava Livolsi commanded the back row with a match-high 20 digs.
