SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster volleyball earned a decisive 3–0 sweep over Regis University (25–20, 25–13, 25–19) on Friday night inside Behnken Field House. The victory improves the Griffins to 14–9 overall and 6–5 in RMAC play, keeping them in the hunt as the regular season winds down.
Westminster was efficient offensively, hitting .308 as a team while holding Regis to .109. Mailei Myers led all players with 20 kills, while Sadie Parrish added 9 and Hailey Killett chipped in 8. Leila Cornejo paced the attack with 19 assists, with Atley Mitchell and Josie Gerritsen contributing 15 and 2, respectively.
Defensively, Ava Livolsi led the way with 13 digs, and Mary Fonoimoana added 7. At the net, Myers finished with 4 blocks, and Gerritsen tallied 1 as the Griffins outmatched the Rangers across every major category — including 56–32 in total points, 48–24 in kills, and 41–20 in assists.
Westminster will be back at home tonight at 6 p.m. when they host Chadron State for Senior Night inside Behnken Field House.
