SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster volleyball team closed out its home schedule with a dominant 3–0 sweep (27–25, 25–15, 25–23) over Chadron State on Saturday evening at Behnken Field House. The win improved the Griffins to 15–9 overall and 7– 5 in RMAC play, as they continue their push toward postseason contention.

Westminster hit .234 as a team while tallying 49 kills on 145 attempts. Hailey Killett paced the offense with 10 kills, while Josie Gerritsen and Mailei Myers added 9 and 8, respectively.

The Griffins' setting tandem of Leila Cornejo and Atley Mitchell combined for 39 assists, helping fuel an efficient offensive night. From the service line, Westminster finished with 7 aces, led by Cornejo and Mitchell with two each.

Defensively, the Griffins were sharp once again — Ava Livolsi led the back row with 15 digs, while Breegan Huntsman and Mary Fonoimoana added 14 and 9, respectively. At the net, Gerritsen contributed 3 blocks, and Killett added 2.

The Griffins will close out the regular season next weekend with two key RMAC matchups on the road, as they look to solidify their playoff positioning heading into the conference tournament.
