The Westminster volleyball team returned home and took care of business on Thursday night, earning a clean 3–0 sweep over Western Colorado inside Behnken Field House. The Griffins won by set scores of 25–13, 25–23, and 25–15, improving to 13–8 overall and 5–5 in RMAC play.
The Griffins hit .236 as a team and finished with 40 kills, led by Breegan Huntsman's 13 kills. Sadie Parrish added 9 kills and Mailei Myers finished with 8. From the service line, Westminster totaled 7 aces, including two each from Huntsman and Ava Livolsi.
Defensively, Huntsman also paced the back row with 13 digs, followed by Isabella DeAntoni with 12 and Livolsi with 10. Setters Atley Mitchell (17 assists) and Leila Cornejo (11) combined for 28 of Westminster's 33 assists.
The Griffins will be back at home Saturday for a matchup with the Adams State Grizzlies.Â
