Salt Lake City, UT - The Westminster University Women's Basketball team faced a tough challenge on Thursday night as they hosted Western Colorado in RMAC action. The Mountaineers used a strong shooting performance, including 12 three-pointers, to secure an 83-43 victory over the Griffins.
Teuila Nawahine led the way for Westminster with 13 points and two assists, while Za'kkria Robinson recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Western Colorado's Alyssa Eckroth spearheaded the Mountaineers' offensive effort with 19 points and five assists. Eckroth was efficient from the free-throw line, converting 10-of-11 attempts.
