San Antonio, TX – The Westminster Griffins Women's Soccer team kicked off their 2024 season with a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Texas A&M International University. Despite dominating offensively with nine shots on goal, the Griffins were unable to find the back of the net in their season opener.
Westminster controlled much of the match, outshooting Texas A&M International 17-2 and earning four corner kicks throughout the contest. Although the Griffins displayed several key attacking spots, they couldn't break through the opposing defense for a goal.
Key players Lily Ford, Alex Hoffman, and Luka Biggs each played the full 90 minutes and contributing to the Griffins' solid performance on both sides of the ball.
