Denver, CO - The Westminster Griffins faced off against No. 2 ranked MSU-Denver on Saturday night, putting up a valiant effort but falling in straight sets to the Roadrunners. The home team took the match with scores of 25-15, 25-15, and 25-17.

Mailei Myers and Claire Cook led the Griffins with seven kills apiece, while Alanna Lee anchored the defense, recording 10 digs.

The Griffins won't have much downtime as they return to Utah for back-to-back games on their home court. The next match is set for Tuesday night at 6:00 PM against Colorado Mesa University, where they will celebrate WU Faculty & Staff Appreciation, presented by UFirst Credit Union.
