Salt Lake City, UT - In the closing game of their 2024 home schedule, the Westminster Women's Lacrosse team found themselves deadlocked in a tie game at halftime. However, a dominant second half performance, where the Griffins outscored Dominican University of California 11-4, propelled Westminster to a commanding 19-12 victory on Dumke Field.
Leading the charge for the Griffins was Jordan Williamson, who notched the first three goals of the game en route to a stellar six-goal performance. Olivia Petrosky also made significant contributions with five goals of her own. On the defensive end, Madi Rogers stood out with three caused turnovers, while Shina Shoughro and Maddie Kelleher showcased their skills with multiple draw controls and crucial goals.
Gabriella Cheminant stood tall in the cage for the Griffins with 13 saves to capture another win in goal.Â
