Pueblo, CO - The season is approaching its conclusion, and on Friday night, the Westminster Women's Basketball team embarked on a journey to Pueblo, CO, to take on the Thunderwolves. Despite a promising start with an early lead in the first quarter and trailing by only one point at halftime, the Griffins faced a setback in the third quarter, ultimately falling 75-61 in RMAC action.
Despite the loss, Maunayia Harrigfeld showcased her talent, leading the Griffins with a team-high 20 points and securing 14 rebounds for a double-double performance. Senior Elizabeth Means contributed 12 points and made her presence felt on the defensive end with three blocks for Westminster.
Alisha Little emerged as the standout performer for the Thunderwolves, tallying 21 points along with three blocks and three steals, contributing to Colorado State Pueblo's victory.
