Griffins Defeated by Colorado School Of Mines

Golden, CO – Despite a strong performance from Simon Akena, who led the Griffins with 17 points and four rebounds, the Westminster Men's Basketball team fell to Colorado School of Mines on Monday evening, 85-64. The loss wraps up the Griffins' 2024 schedule as they head into the holiday break.

Parker Christensen contributed 12 points, four assists, and a steal for the Griffins, while Donaval Avila added 10 points. However, the Orediggers proved to be too much to handle, with four players scoring in double figures. Majok Deng led Colorado School of Mines with a game-high 20 points and three steals to secure the victory.
