Potter’s 31 Points Propel Griffins to Victory Over Adams State

Salt Lake City, UTChase Potter put on a stellar performance for the Westminster Griffins Men's Basketball team Thursday night, scoring a game-high 31 points and grabbing eight rebounds to lead his team to a high-scoring 107-95 victory over Adams State University.

The Griffins capitalized on a balanced offensive effort with Donaval Avila contributing 22 points and a team-high 10 rebounds, along with two blocks. Parker Christensen added 17 points and orchestrated the offense with six assists, while Nicholas Holland came off the bench to provide a spark with 11 points, six assists, and a key defensive play by taking a crucial charge.

The game was a battle throughout, with the score tied seven times and 13 lead changes before the Griffins pulled away in the second half. Westminster dominated the interior, scoring 58 points in the paint and adding 24 second-chance points, while their bench contributed 39 points to secure the win.

For Adams State, Luke Williams and Jayen Alexander each tallied 21 points in a valiant effort for the Grizzlies.
