Salt Lake City, UT - The Westminster Griffins Women's Basketball team kicked off their 2024-25 season in a nail-biter at home against Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The game came down to the final play, with the Griffins trailing by three and missing a potential game-tying shot in the closing seconds, ultimately falling short 66-63. Abby Conlee and Teuila Nawahine led the Griffins' offensive effort, each scoring 17 points, while Maia Rhay contributed 13 points.
