Griffins Fall to Central Washington

Ellensburg, WA – The Westminster Griffins Women's Basketball team hit the road after Thanksgiving to face Central Washington University on Friday night, falling 54-36. Abby Conlee led the Griffins with 11 points and eight rebounds, while Nisa Ellis added six points.

The Griffins were competitive in the first half, trailing by just one point at halftime. However, Central Washington went on a decisive third-quarter run, outscoring Westminster by 13 to take control of the game. Ashler Cai led all scorers with 21 points to propel the Wildcats to victory.
