Salt Lake City, UT – The Westminster Griffins Women's Soccer team fought to a 1-1 draw against the Fort Lewis Skyhawks on Sunday. Both teams were awarded penalty kicks, and each capitalized on their opportunity.

After a scoreless first half, the Skyhawks took the lead at the 52nd minute when Gabi Meraz-Fishbein converted her penalty kick. The Griffins responded late in the game, with Kim Hendrickson scoring from the spot to level the match at 1-1.

Goalkeeper Brooklyn Northcutt made three key saves to help secure the draw. The Griffins will now prepare to host Colorado State University Pueblo on Friday at 3:00 PM. Tickets are on sale, and fans can also catch the action live on the RMAC Network.
