Griffins Fall to UCCS in Three Sets

Colorado Springs, CO – The Westminster Griffins Volleyball team faced a tough challenge on Saturday afternoon as they took on the UCCS Mountain Lions but were unable to capture a set, falling 3-0 (19-25, 15-25, 12-25).

Breegan Huntsman and Claire Cook led the team with 6 kills each, while Mailei Myers added 4 kills and 4 blocks. Leila Cornejo and Josie Gerritsen each contributed 11 assists, and Alanna Lee had a team-high 13 digs.

The Griffins will look to bounce back on their home court next Friday, October 25, when they take on Colorado Christian University. Fans can purchase tickets in advance at WestminsterGriffins.com.
