Griffins Fall In Four Sets

Salt Lake City, UT – The Westminster Griffins Volleyball team started strong on Friday night, winning the first set against Colorado Christian University. However, the Cougars rallied to take the next three sets, handing the Griffins a tough home loss.

Claire Cook led the Griffins with 17 kills, followed by Breegan Huntsman with 10 and Josie Gerritsen with 8. Leila Cornejo contributed 2 service aces, while Mailei Myers recorded a team-high 4 blocks. Josie Gerritsen led in assists with 31, and Alanna Lee anchored the defense with 20 digs.
