Salt Lake City, UT - Westminster University is proud to announce that its 238 NCAA student-athletes achieved an impressive combined GPA of 3.44 during the 2023 fall semester, marking the 16th consecutive semester with a combined GPA surpassing 3.3. Of these student-athletes, 200 finished the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, representing an impressive 84 percent of the total student-athlete population. Furthermore, 146 student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher, while an outstanding 14 finished with a perfect 4.0.
"We're very pleased to highlight the academic accomplishments of our student-athletes this fall," expressed Shay Wyatt, Director of Athletics . "These results underscore our student-athletes' ability to effectively manage demanding schedules while prioritizing their academics. Congratulations to student-athletes for upholding our proud academic tradition."
Amidst the five NCAA sports in competition this past fall, women's soccer, men's soccer, and volleyball not only achieved success on the field or court but also excelled in the classroom.
