COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced that Westminster led the conference in team GPA for eight sports for the 2022-23 year. This is the third consecutive year, and the fifth time in the last six years, 

Teams that were awarded were women's cross country, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's soccer, and women's indoor and outdoor track and field.

The Brechler Awards are named in honor of Paul W. Brechler, a former RMAC commissioner (1976-90), and his wife Wanda Brechler, who were the first inductees into the RMAC Hall of Fame. Each team's GPA is calculated by dividing the total quality points by the total number of credits for each semester. Team GPAs were submitted to the RMAC office by each institution's compliance administrator.
