ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Westminster Men's Lacrosse team found a way to rattle off four goals in the first and eight more in the second quarter to lead 12-0 before the Grizzlies of Adams State scored their first goal as the Griffins took control early and defeated Adams State 21-3.
Six different Griffins had two goals in the win as
Celentano, Joseph (2);
Oswin, Kade (2);
Weathers, Skyler (2);
McMahon, Merritt (2);
Robbins, Parker (2);
Kuptz, Ryan (2) all added to the scoreboard with multiple goals to help Westminster win back-to-back games in conference play on the road in Colorado.
Out shooting the Grizzlies 53-16 was the keys to success for the Griffins who also won the battle in the middle circle 20-6 on the faceoffs.
