Skyler Weathers scored the first goal of the game for the Griffins, but a strong third quarter by the Mavericks helped lead the way to the conference victory for the home team as Colorado Mesa defeated the Westminster Griffins 23-8.

Colorado State University Pueblo who they beat in Salt Lake City, a few weeks back.
The Griffins had eight different players hit the back of the cage and no one scored more than once. Camden Rossi scored his 11th goal of the year and added an assist later in the game.
UP NEXT : The Griffins will head to Pueblo, CO to take on the Thunderwolves on April 7, with face-off scheduled at 3:00 PM as they play their fourth game of the five game road trip.
