Salt Lake City, UT - Westminster Women's basketball has been tough to beat on their home court this season. How good have they been? Well, the last time the Griffins lost at home, was on Dec. 17. Since then, the Griffins haven't lost at home and on Saturday night it was no different as they defeated Regis 78-71.
The Griffins now have won six straight games at home and extended their winning streak to four in a row as their four-game home stand has come to an end.
Ashley Greenwood led the way with 20 points where she found success near the hoop ending her night 9-15 from the field and adding two key three-point makes.
After leading by two points at halftime, it was the third quarter of play that helped the Griffins open up the lead as they outscored the Rangers 26-20.
Margarita Satini and
Lyndzi Rich each dropped 16 points to help Westminster shoot 57 percent on the night as a team.
UP NEXT: The Griffins now travel to Denver, CO for a matchup with
Metropolitan State University of Denver on Friday night Feb. 10 as they will look to snap their losing streak on the road.
