Merritt McMahon found a way to score the game-winning goal with less than a minute left to play as the Griffins defeated Rockhurst 10-9 on Sunday morning.
Entering the fourth, the Griffins found themselves trailing 8-4, then two minutes into the fourth Rockhurst added another goal, but they wouldn't score again. Westminster's men's lacrosse team found a way to rally back into the game with six goals by four different players to cap off the comeback victory.
Skylar Weathers and McMahon each added two goals in the fourth as
Jacob Parks and Camden Rossi both had one goal to help the Griffins lead the comeback.
Jacob Miller was the goalkeeper in the win with six saves and grabbed his first win of the year.
