In a riveting RMAC showdown on Saturday night, the Griffins faced off against the UCCS Mountain Lions at home, aiming to secure a conference victory in front of their home crowd. Despite a spirited late push by the Griffins, UCCS managed to secure a 61-53 win.

The second half saw a resurgence from the Griffins, outscoring the Mountain Lions 34-29, but the early deficit proved challenging to overcome. UCCS displayed sharpshooting prowess, knocking down nine three-pointers to maintain their lead.

Pierce Sterling emerged as the standout performer for Westminster, contributing 14 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Additionally, Rylan O'Brien marked a significant milestone by reaching his 1000th point in his college career.
