COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced the cancellation of Friday's women's soccer conference matchup between Westminster and Black Hills State in Salt Lake City, Utah, resulting in a forfeit in conference standings by the Yellow Jackets. The cancellation was announced following transportation issues due to extreme weather conditions that prevented the Black Hills State program from traveling to the Westminster campus.
As a result of the forfeit by Black Hills State, the Griffins are awarded a win in conference play and three points in the RMAC Women's Soccer standings. Black Hills State is awarded a loss in the conference standings.
Heading into their final two matches, Westminster stands with 14 points and a 4-4-2 record in the latest RMAC standings. Black Hills State will advance to its final conference game with five points and a 1-8-2 record in RMAC play.
