Salt Lake City, UT - The Westminster women's basketball team found themselves down early vs Western Colorado, but with a run to end the first quarter of play and
Lyndzi Rich leading the way with 20 points to end the night the Griffins found a way to tack on another RMAC win 57-47 with a big second quarter on both ends of the court.
Late in the fourth quarter, a 5-0 run by Western Colorado saw the lead shrink to five points for the Griffins, but five straight free throws down the stretch and some big rebounds late in the game helped Westminster capture back-to-back wins at home as they continue their chase to host an RMAC tournament game.
Ashley Greenwood was the second leading scorer on the night and the second player who ended the game in double-figures with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
UP NEXT: The Griffins stay home as they continue their four-game home stand next weekend.
