Salt Lake City, UT - It was a Friday night full of action inside the Behnken Field House as the Westminster Griffins defeated Western Colorado in 3 sets to capture another conference win for the Griffins as Lydia Miller led the way for the Griffins in the victory for the first time in their home gym.
"We outblocked and out dug them," said head coach
Sue Dulaney. "It was great so see our middles be so active and combining to hit over .500.'
It was all Westminster in the first set as they come out strong on the attacking taking set 1 25-12, but the second set was a battle with some key defensive blocks the Griffins took set 2. 25-19.
The final set of the night saw some key aces in the 25-16 match point to send the Griffins leaving the court with all smiles.
