Alamosa, CO - The Griffins saw three goals hit the back of the net in the first half and added one more in the second as the Griffins take down Adams State on Friday night on the road to pick up a key conference win in RMAC play as four different players scored in the victory 4-0 on Friday night.
The first goal of the night came in the first 15 minutes of play as
Gage Wood was the goal scorer and was assisted by
Adam Koblanski to open up the early one-goal, lead, but just over a minute later the lead was expanded as the
Jack Cardwell found
Jace Vance for the second goal of the first half in the first 17 minutes.
As the first half continued the game tightened up on the defensive end for both teams until
Cole Kartchner scored the third goal of the first half and was assisted by
Luis Martinez as the after 45 minutes of action in Alamosa saw the Griffin leading 3-0.
Martinez, didn't only have an assist on the night he was able to take a shot and get by the goalkeeper of the Grizzlies as
Roark Looney once again played the full 90 minutes as the Griffins goalkeeper and completed the shutout win for Westminster.

Fort Lewis College is next up on the schedule slate for the Men's Soccer team as they will hit the road to Durango, CO, and play on Dirks Field on Sunday afternoon with kick-off scheduled for 1:30.
