Westminster College men's soccer has unveiled its 2022 schedule with 20 matches which include two exhibition games.
The Griffins (9-10,6-4 RMAC) a season ago where Westminster was defeated 1-0 in the RMAC Quarterfinals on Dumke Field vs. Regis University. This season will begin with back-to-back exhibition games starting at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) on August 11 at Bruins Soccer Field at 6:30 P.M. MDT and then host Central Washington University on August 13 on Dumke Field at Westminster College at 12:00 P.M. MDT.
The Griffins will play their final exhibition game in the state of Utah with a trip to Utah Valley University in Orem, UT it will be an in-state battle as both teams open their 2022 season on CLYDE FIELD on August 19 with kick-off at 7:30 MDT. This will start the first of three straight road games for the Griffins.
Westminster will return to Dumke Field on September 1 as they welcome Western Oregon University into Salt Lake City, with the first kick scheduled for 7:00 P.M. MDT. After their home opener, the Griffins will travel to Hawaii for a weekend to wrap up their non-conference schedule.
RMAC play begins on the road on Sept. 16 with a trip to COMMUNITY HOSPITAL UNITY FIELD to take on Colorado Mesa and then return home for their home conference opener on Sept. 18 with a match-up with Colorado School of Mines. Sept. 18 begins a three-game home stand for the Griffins as they will take on UCCS (Sept. 23) and CSU-Pueblo (Sept. 25); other home matchups include, Fort Lewis (Oct. 2) Colorado Mesa (Oct. 5) MSU-Denver (Oct. 7) and they will play their final regular game and senior night on Friday, Oct. 21.
Three of Griffin's last four matches are on the road with Regis (Oct. 14), South Dakota Mines (Oct. 16), and the regular-season finale against Colorado School of Mines (Oct. 23)
