SALT LAKE CITY -- Hunter Krebs had a team-high 15 points and four starters finished in double figures as
Westminster women's basketball (14-7, 13-4 RMAC) went on a 21-5 run to end first half and begin the second half and defeated MSU Denver (17-6, 13-5 RMAC), 66-54, on Tuesday night at Behnken Field House.
Abby Mangum finished with 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting and also had a team-leading four steals on defense.

Lyndzi Rich each added 11 points on the night. Despite finishing the night 4-of-13 (31 percent) as a team in fourth quarter, Westminster led by double digits for almost the entirety of the second half, racing out to its largest lead of the night after halftime.
Westminster finished the second period ended the first half on an 11-4 run, going 5-of-6 from the floor as a team to to take a 32-26 lead into the halftime break. McGinley, Greenwood and Rich were each tied for the team lead with seven first-half points and Rich finished with a team-leading five boards in the first two quarters, each on the defensive end of the court.
The Griffins began the second half with another offensive outburst, scoring two quick buckets to force a quick MSU Denver timeout to begin the third. Westminster would ultimately begin the half on a 16-7 run that included nine points from Mangum as the Griffins held MSU Denver to just 3-of-8 shooting during that span to earn its largest lead of the game to that point, a 15-point advantage.
Westminster women's basketball will close out its home schedule this weekend as it hosts its final two regular season games of the season at Behnken Field House beginning with 13th-ranked Colorado School of Mines on Friday night. The Griffins will then host senior night on Saturday against Regis, both games tipping-off at 5 p.m.
