Salt Lake City, UT - The first weekend of conference play has begun as the Griffins welcomed MSU - Denver and it was a thriller. There were six seconds left to play in regulation, and the game was tied at 60 when junior
Elizabeth Means knocked down the game-winning three as time expired to give the Griffins their first conference win of the year.
It was a very competitive conference matchup, consisting of nine lead-changes and the score tied on seven occasions.
Lyndzi Rich led all-scorer's with 19, and teammates
Rae Falatea contributed 17 and
Ashley Greenwood 14. Brianna Bailey was the
leading scorer for the
Roadrunners.
