Salt Lake City, UT - On Saturday night the three-point line was the Westminster Griffin's friend as they were able to knock down 11 three-point shots.
Taylor Miller had six of them and added 16 points as the Griffins defeated the ninth ranked Skyhawks of Fort Lewis 93-79 in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchup in Utah.
From start to finish the Griffins never trailed in the game as a great jump from the team from the tip-off led to an advantage for Westminster in the victory.
Trey Farrer, was the team's leading scorer on the night as he had 17 points and seven rebounds.
With six minutes left to play in the game,e the Skyhawks made a run of their own and got as close as three points, but a slam dunk by Gabe Olivera, a short jumper by Jeremy Dowell and back-to-back threes by
Lewis Johnson and Miller helped seal the victory for the Griffins.
Fort Lewis had four players who scored in double-figures which including JaQuaylon Mays, their leading scorer with 24 points and three steals in the loss.

The Griffins will now get some much-needed rest as the holiday season is near, the Griffins won't be back on the floor until Dec. 30 as they travel to Las Vegas, NM.
