NAMPA, Idaho—The Westminster women's volleyball team lost to the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks in the first of two weekend road games.
The Griffins bounced back to win the second set, 25-18, after losing the opening set, 15-25. The Griffins recorded 14 kills and a hitting percentage of .242 in the win.
The Nighthawks closed the match hitting over .300 in the final sets with 15 kills in the third and 14 kills in the fourth.
Lydia Miller led the team with 12 kills and .257 hitting.
Malinda Messner also reached double figures with 11 kills.
Bri Mortensen recorded 33 assists and
Holland Vande Merwe recorded 16 digs.
The Griffins finish the weekend against the College of Idaho on Saturday, Mar. 13.
