SALT LAKE CITY - Westminster women's basketball (5-4, 4-1 RMAC) will look to return to its winning ways this weekend as they travel for a pair of RMAC contests beginning with N.M. Highlands (3-8, 0-5 RMAC) on Friday at 3 p.m., followed by UC-Colorado Springs (3-8, 1-4 RMAC) on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

- Westminster saw its four-game winning streak come to an end after a second-half comeback attempt fell short in a 65-54 loss to CSU Pueblo back on Dec. 16. Westminster trailed by as many as 20 midway through the third but came storming back with a 14-0 run late in the third. CSU Pueblo went 12-of-18 (67 percent) from deep on the night as Westminster got within six to end the third quarter but were unable to close the gap any further.

Mariah Martin, five times this season and is second in the RMAC in scoring by just 0.3 points.

- N.M. Highlands has dropped five straight games to begin the RMAC season and played its closest game of the conference schedule so far its last time out in a five-point loss to Chadron State.
- The Cowgirls connected on a season-high 26 field goals against Chadron State and sit at the bottom of the conference with just 53.3 ppg.
- N.M. Highlands sits at the bottom of the conference standings in field goal percentage (.339) and 3PT field goal percentage (.239). The Cowgirls' 17.9 turnovers per game are the fourth most in the conference so far this season.
- Jordyn Lewis leads the team in scoring with 12.4 ppg and has connected on 21 three's so far this season.

- Graduate student Jasmine Jeffcoat, who has led the team in scoring in three games and rebounding four times, leads the Mountain Lions in scoring (10.6 points per game) and rebounds (6.1 rebounds per game). Jeffcoat's 3.4 offensive rebounds per game is a league high, while her 67 total rebounds are the 10th most in the RMAC.
- Sophie Abela has dished out a team high 36 assists (fifth in the RMAC), including a career high 10 assists at Chadron State on Dec. 18. Her 10 assists against the Eagles are the second most in a game in program history.
- Freshman Maison White, who has seen action in seven games, shares the rebounding lead with Jeffcoat with 6.1 rebounds per game, and she is second on the team in scoring with 9.9 points per game.

    - Westminster is 3-3 all-time against UCCS, winning the last three after losing the first three matchups.
    - The Griffins won the last game, 75-64, at home in Salt Lake city back in January of 2020. Last season's matchup was canceled due to COVID-19 protocol and was not rescheduled.
