COLORADO SPRINGS - Westminster women's cross country runner Saydi Anderson was named Academic All-Conference as announced by league office on Thursday.  Anderson is a senior with a 4.0 cumulative GPA and is double-majoring in both English and Spanish-Latin American studies at Westminster College.

Anderson was named RMAC Runner of the Week after finishing third with a 17:50.21 5k at the FHSU Tiger Open back on Oct. 9 and posted the best finish for Westminster at the RMAC Championships with a 22:43.5 6k to finish in 14th overall.

Westminster men's and women's cross country will make their final push for a spot in the 2021 NCAA Championships as they compete in the 2021 NCAA South Central Regional Meet on Saturday morning at the Chaparral Ridge Cross Country Course.  Saturday's meet, which is being hosted by Lubbock Christian University, will begin the women's 6k race at 8 a.m. (MDT) followed by the men's 10k at 9:15 a.m. (MDT).
