Audrey Green reached a significant career milestone as the women's volleyball team (2-2. 0-1 RMAC) hosted Northwest Nazarene University (0-3) and Colorado Mesa (4-0).
Green recorded 14 kills in the first match against NNU and was just two kills short of 1,000. She quickly reached the mark with two kills in the first set against Colorado Mesa. Green is the fourth Griffin to reach 1,000 career kills and ranks fourth all-time behind Amara Spere, Green's teammate from her freshman year.

Bri Mortensen recorded double-doubles as the Griffins cruised to a four set win over the Nighthawks. The Griffins cruised to victory after a dominating third set win.
The Griffins recorded 43 kills hitting at a clip of .270 and holding the Nighthawks to a .114 hitting percentage.
Green and
Lydia Miller led the team with 14 and 13 kills, respectively. Green recorded a team-high 12 digs to complete the double-double.
Mortensen recorded her third double-double of the season with 33 assists and 11 digs. She also recorded two kills and three block assists.
Westminster 1, Colorado Mesa 3 (25-27, 25-22, 16-25, 17-25)
Green and Miller led Westminster's attack again and were driving forces against Colorado Mesa. Both recorded 12 kills and eight digs.
Bri Mortensen recorded her fourth double-double with 27 assists and a team-high 15 digs. Libero
Holland Vande Merwe recorded 12 digs.
The Griffins were close to having a 2-0 lead over the Mavericks. A 9-2 run in the first set put the Griffins in the lead by eight, 14-6. Mesa matched that with a 9-1 run tying the set 15-15. Mesa pushed there lead to 5 before the Griffins tied it,24-24, with five straight points.
Westminster is on the road next weekend to Durango, Colo., where they will play Black Hills State at 2 pm and hosts Fort Lewis at 5 pm on Saturday Feb. 6.
