SALT LAKE CITY—Westminster's men's basketball will finish the RMAC regular season at home against #25 Dixie State Friday night.
Chances to make the RMAC tournament dropped significantly after road losses to Regis and Colorado Christian over the weekend. The Griffins are tied eighth with Regis (16-11, 11-10 RMAC) and one game ahead of Western Colorado (13-14, 10-11 RMAC). The Griffins must win, and Regis has to lose to Colorado Christian for the Griffins to finish eighth and make the tournament.
History & Previous Meeting
The Griffins and Trailblazers began the RMAC season in St. George, Utah, in Burns Arena. The Trailblazers won that game 74-63. Dixie has won the last two meetings.
Westminster and Dixie have met nine times since 2006. The Griffins are 5-4 in the series and 3-1 at home. Westminster won four in a row from 2007-2018.

In the RMAC the Griffins rank 13th in offense (73.8) and sixth in defense (72.0). Dixie ranks fourth in offense (81.3) and seventh in defense (73.1).

Jake Connor are the team's top three leading scorers. Warr leads the team averaging 15.5 points per game. Monson averages 12.3 and Connor 11.6.
On the defensive end, Warr leads the team and conference in rebounding with 8.9 per game. Monson leads the team with 29 steals followed closely by
Jai Jai Ely at 27 and Warr with 22. Monson also leads the team with 20 blocked shots.
Trailblazers
Hunter Schofield averages 16.0 points per game to lead the Trailblazers. Jack Pagenkopf is secondon the team with 14.2 and Dason Yougblood is third at 11.0.
Schofield and Pagenkopf are the defensive leaders for the team as well averaging 6.2 and 6.0 rebounds per game respectively. Schofield leads the team with 15 blocked shots and Pagenkopf leads the team with 54 steals.
