LAKEWOOD, Colo.—Griffins show offensive and defensive sides in 66-44 win over Colorado Christian Friday night. The Griffins built a 10-point lead in the first periods shooting 58.8 percent from the field then closed the fourth period holding the home side to 11.8 percent.

Shelley Jarrard said. "Hunter was tough to stop inside, Kaitlin had another double-double game, and our defense was key in the fourth quarter."
The Griffins came out strong and went on an 11-3 run to start the game. CCU cut the lead to four but a 6-0 run put the Griffins in front, 21-11.
The game evened out in the middle. A second quarter slump saw both teams shoot 25 percent and lower. The offense picked up in the third with the teams shooting over 46 percent and combining for 38 points.
The Griffins extended their lead by nine through the fourth quarter as the Cougars went seven minutes between baskets.
Hunter Krebs shot 9-12 from the field and was 4-4 from the stripe to lead the Griffins with 12 points.
Kaitlin Toluono recorded her second double-double in just two weekends. Toluono scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. She had a team high four assists along with teammates
Sarah McGinley and
Mariah Martin.
