Griffins Take Winning Streak on the Road

Westminster men's soccer (6-2-0, 4-0-0 RMAC) will take its four-game winning streak on the road this weekend, playing at Fort Lewis College on Friday and at Colorado Mesa on Sunday. Both games will be streamed on the RMAC Network.

Scouting the Griffins
The Griffins have won their first four conference games, all shutouts, and have outscored the opposition 9-0 over that span. Danny Darelli has seven goals to lead the team. Max Bingham has four goals and Bridger Hansen has three as the Griffins have outscored their opponents 18-5 in 2019.

Scouting the Opposition
Fort Lewis College (5-0-3, 3-0-1 RMAC) is unbeaten in 2019 and has won its last three games. Ryan Lee and Loic Jean-Baptiste have three goals each to lead the Skyhawks.

Colorado Mesa (5-1-1, 3-0-1 RMAC) has won its last three games and has only suffered one loss in 2019 – a 2-0 loss in the Mavericks' first game of the season. Alec Fronapfel has scored three goals to lead the team, and Ramses Atahualpa has recorded four assists.

Westminster Men's Soccer at a Glance
The 2019 season is the 36th season of competition for the Westminster men's soccer program. The Griffins went 14-4-1 last season and 10-3-1 in conference play, their fourth season competing in the RMAC and against an NCAA Division II schedule.  Westminster made its first appearance in the RMAC Tournament in 2018.
 
Head coach Josh Pittman is in his fourth season at Westminster, and the Griffins' record has improved in each season during his tenure.
