Box Score GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Westminster women's volleyball lost its first of a two-match road trip, falling 3-1 (26-24, 16-25, 17-25, 17-25) to Colorado Mesa on Friday night.
The Griffins won a close first set. Westminster maintained a slight lead throughout the majority of the set, but found itself down 23-24 before scoring three straight to win.
Westminster struggled the rest of the match, dropping three straight sets.
Audrey Green led the attack with 13 kills and
Sydnee Simmons pitched in eight.
Aggie Roese-Olsen had 22 assists and
Hannah Stearman recorded 23 digs.
The Mavericks got double-digit kills from four players, led by Kasie Gilftort's 16.
