SALT LAKE CITY – No. 23 Westminster women's basketball will try to continue its hot start with a pair of road contests, playing at University of Alaska-Fairbanks on Friday, Nov. 22 and at No. 11 University of Alaska-Anchorage on Saturday, Nov. 23.
The Griffins debuted at No. 23 in the WBCA Coaches Poll this week after previously being unranked, a nod to Westminster's impressive 4-0 start and a recent victory over Northwest Nazarene, snapping the Nighthawks' 21-game home winning streak.
Westminster's offense is led by the
Sarah McGinley and her 18 points per game, with
Hunter Krebs and
Mariah Martin averaging 16.5 and 16.0 points per game, respectively.
